After your feedback that payments were not being processed quickly enough, we’ve had our noses to the grindstone and improved the way that Tixi and PayPal now talk to each other.

When a customer makes a purchase this is what happens:

1. They submit their credit card details
2. PayPal fraud checks these details and processes the payment
3. PayPal clears the payment and sends the customer a “confirmation of payment” via email
4. PayPal then lets us know that the payment has cleared
5. We then use that information to mark the customer as paid on the guest list, and the payment is also reflected on the seller’s finance page.

Improvements in our system ensure that this process now all happens in about 30 seconds.

These changes mean that your customers are given almost instant payment confirmation and as a seller you will have your money in your pocket faster than ever before.
