We Get Feedback, You Get a Better Tixi
We heard about this great thing called UserVoice. It’s implemented by people like us who aren’t content with what we’ve got – we want Tixi to be as good as it can be.
By clicking on our feedback button our customers can now see what other users want in our system and what we delivered in return. It has never been so easy to give us feedback, and more importantly for you the customer, to hold us accountable for the speed at which we respond to requests.

It was about time we got our picture on the Who We Are page. Introducing the Tixi team – Tatham Oddie and Tom Harvey. As you can see from the photo we are both quite partial to a slimming stripy shirt and we also don’t mind sharing a decent bottle of red.
Tatham brings his technical genius to the team, while Tom deals with the front of house – making sure that customers are getting exactly what they want.

Improved PayPal Integration – Processing Payments Faster
After your feedback that payments were not being processed quickly enough, we’ve had our noses to the grindstone and improved the way that Tixi and PayPal now talk to each other.
When a customer makes a purchase this is what happens:
- They submit their credit card details
- PayPal fraud checks these details and processes the payment
- PayPal clears the payment and sends the customer a “confirmation of payment” via email
- PayPal then lets us know that the payment has cleared
- We then use that information to mark the customer as paid on the guest list, and the payment is also reflected on the seller’s finance page.
Improvements in our system ensure that this process now all happens in about 30 seconds.
These changes mean that your customers are given almost instant payment confirmation and as a seller you will have your money in your pocket faster than ever before.

Tixi Gains Pace
It’s been a big week for Tixi, and we’ve made some equally large changes:
We’ve lowered our booking fee!
After running a few events and moving a bit more money through Tixi, the guys at PayPal have kindly agreed to lower our transaction fees. We are very happy to be able to immediately pass these savings on – so we’ve dropped our booking fee from 5%+ $0.50 to 2.4% + $1.50.
RSVP events are now free!
RSVP events are now entirely free to run! It will no longer costs you $50 to run an event of this style.
Exciting Events on Tixi
We also currently have some really exciting events running on Tixi. Autosports Australia is running track days at Oran Park & Eastern Creek; and Patrick Moore recently ran his You’re Stronger Than You Think session at Manly.![]()
